Task 1

Goals
I am going to improve my ability to give a confident presentation, by preparing, for example by practicing your questions, meeting the person personally, talking and etc. That will give me the confidence, and will make the presentation even better what I expected it to be.

I am going to improve my motivation to study hard by looking and learning from the people in family, and the students that are studying with me here at Unitec. They are so motivated, and so concrete in it.

Reflective Blog
In task 1, I introduced my classmate Ian; it's a good experience for me in my English study. At first, there are a little bit difficult for me, because it's the first time to introduce someone with English, and keep speaking for a short time with video, then put it in the blog. I was afraid to make some mistakes that make other students laugh at me, so I did lots of practises in my free time. Finally, I did it. Even though it wasn’t still perfect, but I felt successful what I did. Through this task, I found my English level was improved, my grammar is better than before, and can be used with facility.
 
Thinking back to task 1, and reviewing my video, a number of mistakes was found. Such as the pronunciation. Listening to my video, sometimes even me, I couldn't understand as well. It's a big problem in my speaking. I have to do more practise to solve it; otherwise, it would be a wall to block the communication with others. The other point is the sentence couldn't connect well, probably I need to use the link words to make the sentences closed, and think about the sentences in order, it should be better.
